No matter where I was in the world I loved writing postcards... Sitting in a cafe or maybe at the bar (Sardinia memorably, sipping a shot of grappa on a cool August night, on the not crazy chic side of the Island just a bit past high season listening to vintage Italian tunes like Volare over and over again, the bar had one mix tape I guess) so when I thought of adding a blog to my site I wanted it to be about the idea of postcards, recollections, intriguing ideas to ponder, discussions of experiences shared, and thoughts of joyful moments hopefully to come. So read on for Postcards from the Pros, commentary from interesting people I've met along the way and remembrances of days of my life that prompted me to write so many postcards to friends and family.
P.S. I loved the stamps, flowers, architecture, past leaders of the free world, they added an extra dimension of pleasure to my so very enjoyable travel ritual
